Today, SharpLink Gaming (Nasdaq: SBET) announced that it plans to deploy $200 million of ETH into EigenCloud’s restaking infrastructure in collaboration with Consensys’ Linea, and ether.fi, and with Anchorage Digital providing institutional custody, to unlock DeFi yield and exposure to a new class of Ethereum-secured AI workloads.This collaboration establishes a new playbook for turning passive ETH treasuries into active, yield-generating capital that can secure new applications, agents and verifiable services built on Ethereum.Restaking has become a leading onchain treasury strategy, with 4.2M ETH currently securing new autonomously verifiable services built on EigenLayer.
