Agentic by Eigen: Network State Edition | Full Recap

Last week we took Agentic by Eigen to the Network State community.

The participants were builders, founders, and researchers already shipping in the agentic space. We could skip the introductions to what an agent is and go straight into what is actually hard about building them.

Vibe Coding

The opening session was on vibe coding. We talked about how AI tools have collapsed the time it takes to go from a blank canvas to something running, what changes about the build loop when AI is doing most of the typing, and where the workflow tends to fall apart.

Most of the room had been doing this for months. That made the discussion sharper, with less curiosity about what was possible and more honest comparison of where everyone was hitting the same problems.

Building Agents

The conversation moved into agents next. The framing was not about what they are but about what it actually takes to ship one.

We got into the building blocks, the handoff problems between tools, why most agent demos hold up in a single session but fall apart over longer workflows, and where the emerging agent stack still has missing pieces.

Verifiability

Then we got to the part that does not get talked about enough. When an agent is making decisions on its own, how do you know it ran the code you deployed? What data went into the inference? Was anything tampered with along the way?

This is where the Network State framing started doing real work. Sovereignty, verifiability, and systems you can audit without a third party are problems this audience thinks about by default. Connecting that to agents was not a leap. It was the conversation people were already trying to have.

After the Talk

After the Talk

The 1:1s afterwards are the point of these events.

The talks set the context and get the room on the same page. The real work happens once the formal session ends and people break into smaller groups. That is where builders walk through what they are actually stuck on, where someone tells you what they want from the infrastructure layer that they have not said anywhere publicly, and where the follow-ups start.

Agentic by Eigen is built around that. The format, the size of the room, and the depth of the topics are all set up so the conversations after carry the real weight.
